Height options
The Hygipod IPS is available in both full-height and half-height configurations to suit a range of installation requirements. Full-height units are typically manufactured up to 3000 mm, while half-height units are commonly specified at around 1450 mm and can be produced to suit project needs.

Hygipod IPS panels are manufactured from single PVC sheets up to 3000 mm for solid colours and 2440 mm for Essence finishes. Where these heights are exceeded, a horizontal joint is introduced at the upper section to maintain a consistent, hygienic finish.

Hygipod IPS offers three floor interface options to suit different installation requirements. These include a Trovex-supplied plinth for a hygienic, coved floor finish, direct-to-floor installation onto existing surfaces, and a prefinished plinth for a clean, finished appearance without floor coving.

Utility & Sluice FAQs
Utility & Sluice FAQs
There are three options. The Hygipod plinth is the most common, supplied by Trovex and installed before floor finishes, allowing vinyl flooring to cove up to it for a hygienic seal at floor level. Direct to floor suits projects where the floor finish already exists, though it's not recommended where the ceiling is solid. The prefinished plinth is similar to the Hygipod plinth but laminated in Trovex PVC, providing a finished appearance where vinyl coving isn't required.
Yes. As well as full-height options that run to or through the ceiling, the Hygipod IPS is available in two half-height variants: flat top and sloping top. Both can be manufactured to any height to suit the installation. The sloping top option is commonly specified at 1,450mm and is designed to discourage items being placed on top of the unit, supporting hygiene compliance.
The Hygipod IPS comes in five configurations: flat, flush, single-return, double-return, and wall-to-wall. All share the same seamless, easy-clean PVC finish and compliant design. The standard width is 750mm across most configurations, with the wall-to-wall option spanning between opposing walls at a project-specific width. Alternative widths and depths are available across the range.
The Hygipod IPS Utility & Sluice is available with six robust sanitaryware configurations to suit the specific demands of utility and sluice environments. The Janitorial Unit provides a reliable solution for general cleaning and waste management in ward and corridor utility rooms. The Slophopper is designed for the safe, hygienic disposal of clinical waste in sluice and decontamination areas, while the Plaster Sink delivers a deep-bowl solution for orthopaedic and treatment rooms. The Doon Sink covers general utility tasks across a range of clinical settings, and for dedicated sluice requirements the Fiji Sluice and Java Sluice offer compact and higher-capacity options respectively, suited to spaces of varying size and throughput. Each variant is supplied pre-plumbed and compliant, reducing on-site work and supporting infection prevention from day one.
